My disclaimer- it is very hard to pick ONE favorite for the following questions.

1. Describe yourself in three words.
Encouraging Ethical Affectionate

2. How did you choose your blog’s name?
As I reached a new decade and the age of 60, I started reflecting on what I want the rest of my life to be like. My mother moved in to live with us and watching her settle for watching TV and being waited on caused me to deeply desire not to become like that. Then my husband was very ill with pneumonia and my 11 year old granddaughter was upset and told her mother that she didn’t know what she would do if something happened to me. The combination of events led me to decide that I want to do whatever it takes to “Become My Best Me”- physically healthy, spiritually mature and socially fulfilled. I change my eating habits and lost 49 pounds, became more deliberate about spending time with friends, and felt that NOW was the time to follow my lifelong dream to write books.

3. What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
Have a cup of coffee and a Muffin in a Mug
